There we some parts that I enjoyed but… I struggled to see the purpose of a lot of the things that happened.
It felt like it was trying too much but also not enough at the same time- take for example the corporation mentioned. It felt too big for a novella but also… nothing eventuated within the story? If that makes sense…

I liked it a lot! A very engaging and quick read in a setting that is unfamiliar but still relatable. The audiobook narrator is fantastic. Sounds like there may be a sequel coming and I'm here for it.

I genuinely enjoyed this book. It took me out of my usual element of space sci fi. This story is still a great form of science fiction and I think this was a good book to segway into other forms of science fiction.
