CWs: Gun violence, violence, blood, sexual scenes, kidnapping, death, murder, and death of a loved one.
Mention of: rape, cheating, toxic relationships, captivity, and child abuse.

So...I still like the overall idea of this series but I found issue with some of the "out of character" things that happened. If you've hated someone/something you're entire life...it takes more than one person saying, "hey it's not that bad," for someone to forgive and forget. Lets be serious...

Since I read the first 2 back to back and I'm a little annoyed 😅 I'm gonna take a little break before I read the other books. I genuinely want to see where the story goes...I just need a break.

Demi and Sawyer just cannot catch a break. While I understand Demi just wants a little peace and normalcy, her lack of "duty" got under my skin. The same with Sawyer's possessiveness. I understand, but it still annoys. A fantastic installment. Can't wait to continue their story!

Demi grew up an outsider. A werewolf without a pack. Until the Alpha's son happens across her and drafts her into the Werewolf Bachelorette. There were some areas that I felt needed fleshed out a little more. And that ending came out of Nowhere. Overall, a lovely story. And I will be continuing the series.

The highs and lows of this book have put me on the most extreme emotional roller coaster ride! Our star-crossed lovers are torn apart again and again, and have to face battles on all sides. More adventurous than the first book, we get to meet Trolls, Fey, Vampires, and Paladin, and learn that not everyone is what they seem! I finished this book in one day after reading the first book on a plane yesterday. Will be starting book three now and settling in for a great night of reading!

I cannot recommend this series enough for a fun, immersive, slightly spicy and emotional read!
