This was a heartfelt, high-stakes romance that took the “one-night stand” trope to a whole new level—adrift in the ocean! Zeke and Lexi are total opposites who end up stranded at sea after a miscommunication leaves the houseboat they are on, untethered. With limited supplies and no plan, they’re forced to rely on each other for survival. What starts as panic slowly turns into something deeper as they share secrets, reveal past wounds, and learn to trust—not just each other, but themselves. Beth O’Leary masterfully blends romance, grief, and self-discovery with tension and humor. I loved the dual POVs and the audiobook narration by Connor Swindells and Rebekah Hinds made it all the more immersive. This is more than just a love story—it's about letting go, holding on, and finding your anchor.
