Wacht, was dit nou een romance of een thriller?? Ik denk dat ik nog nooit zo’n spannende contemporary romance heb gelezen :’) Het was een uniek en heerlijk vergezocht scenario, ik zat op het randje van mijn stoel en heb ervan genoten hoe deze twee voor elkaar vielen 🥹

I was unmotivated to continue with this story, which is such a shame as I LOVE Beth O’Leary’s writing and stories. I wasn’t connecting with the characters and found myself hoping more action or plot was around the corner. Which indicates to me that maybe it’s not the right time for me to read this story. I found it very character driven and reflective, and I was unable to focus. 
But I’ll keep this one on my long term TBR, and try again in another phase of life
