I usually can’t handle tense situations, but this one was just so worth it. You know what’s going to happen, it’s right there on the cover, but every next thing is a new surprise. I also LOVED the ending that wrapped everything up in the most satisfying way you always hope for but rarely get (seriously why do other authors leave that lil cliff hanger of doubt or unfinished plot??). More romantic than spicy in the best of ways as well.

dnf at 80% way too soapy I just couldn't anymore

Compelling storyline that felt different from most rom coms. It took me a minute (I figured out quick that I couldn’t read this on a cruise) but once I was back on land I enjoyed it.

this actually happened to me and some buddies recently

A bit slow but I liked the ending. Not her best book

This would have been a 5 star book had it not been for the RIDICULOUS and completely unnecessary plot of
Zeke actually being Mae’s dad, miscommunication galore, and Penny being the shittiest person in the world
. Very disappointed in the ending.
