This would have been a 5 star book had it not been for the RIDICULOUS and completely unnecessary plot of Zeke actually being Mae’s dad, miscommunication galore, and Penny being the shittiest person in the world . Very disappointed in the ending.

Just a little lost at sea with your one night stand romance, which was perfect for vacation listening. Great audiobook! I’ll read anything from Beth O’Leary. Loved this sweet romance with depth. I appreciate the challenging friendship and family dynamics at play as well.
