WOW, wow, I just don't know what to write because I don't even know how I feel. I've been putting this book aside because I've read so many comments and reviews that they either cried, went into depression or both. So, when I bought this book, I actually was coming out of depression and my anxiety levels were going down and I didn't want to go back to that state again. But This week, I finally decided to grab, read AND also listen this book.

IEWU is my third book I've ever read from Colleen and I LOVE her writing. She made me feels every single feeling she writes. I am a hopeless romantic and a crier but with IEWU I did not cry at all...I even thought I either was holding my feelings back or I do not have feelings anymore, lol. I did end up crying like a baby but also I got so angry at Ryle for every single thing he did to Lily and I was heart broken because of him, I fell in love with him and honestly, didn't like that because I am against any type of violence. Lily really took me with her and her life questions, I am glad she was able to decide and that she took a great decision. The way she handled her situation was so well, she made Ryle to understand why she could not be with him anymore. Every relationship that this book presented were very emotional, raw...they were real. This actually made me think about what it means to really love someone, how much of us we give in a relationship and to what our limits should be. We should be brave and bold even if we feel like Lily, like we don't have anything figure out.

It Ends With Us is a must read for anyone and everyone but be careful because you will not want to stop reading and you will cry so much, so get napkins, or tissues because they are a necessity when you read this IEWU.

Can I just say that I loved this book. I went into this book thinking it was going to be a generic story about a girl with feelings for two boys at once, but boy was I wrong. The characters were written perfectly, I loved them all, even with their flaws. Written from the point of view of Lily, it starts out with you thinking it's just a love story.
The story between Ryle and Lily was just so different from what I've read elsewhere, with no spoilers about any specifics of the relationship, it was so well written, with both sides of the relationship given a voice, no matter if you agree with what happened/the characters reasons behind the events. Especially reading the authors note, you realise just how authentic the events actually are.
5 stars, will 100% be recommending this book to my friends and anyone else who will listen to me raving about this book.

4.5 stars.

This was my second Colleen Hoover book, this is a very hyped book. It definitely lived up to the hype. I loved the way domestic abuse was shown realistically. I personally find a lot of books either go to far or not far enough into the abuse. This book takes the issue in good taste while also being realistic.

Ryle is a pos that needs some serious help, Lily tries to help. She sees the good in him even when he doesn't deserve it. She knows she can both love him yet hate him. She works out those feelings in a healthy way. She wants to break the abuse cycle.

Atlas is a sweetheart who tries to do right by Lily, regardless of how he feels. He sets boundaries and talks to Lily about how she's feeling, even when he knows it will hurt him. I truly rooted for him and Lily.

This book will hit you in all the feels and then kick you while your down. I highly recommend it!
