Fun memoir and audiobook. The story of "diaper time" was especially funny to me.

Sometimes I fear I overuse the term "must read", but this definitely a must read for any fan of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend". Bloom's wit and voice shine through. As a bonus, one of the chapters directs you to visit her website for the option of hearing it as a musical performance. This is absolutely a must do and transported me into what I loved so much about her show. I do wish the book was a little longer because it definitely left me wanting more. Hopefully this is just the first in a collection of essays from her.

Love Rachel Bloom and her work! This memoir of essays touches on mental health, creativity, and relationships. Definitely glad I listened to it as an audiobook to hear her singing and her dog voice.

A bit more on the comedy bits side rather than the memoir side, but still very enjoyable!

Rachel Bloom is funny. But if I say that she's awful and terrible and not a comedian at all will she venmo me some money to make me like her? Anyway, we were in middle school (NOT the same one) at the same time so I could relate to her middle school stories. And her poetry. terrible poetry. This book is worth listening to because she reads these embarrassing middle school poems PERFECTLY, she sings a bunch and her asides feel like she's whispering just to the listener, which she literally was with my earbuds in.

funny

This is exactly what I expected from a Rachel Bloom book: fun, witty, crude, and unabashedly honest.
