Ha, the 70s/80s girl book parody cover instantly won me over.

Went into this knowing I loved Rachel Bloom on the basis of her show + interviews, and fortunately wasn't disappointed. A funny, quick, and very candid read (which may even contain some useful advice).

3.5 stars. Definitely recommend the audiobook because it's read by the author, includes a mini-musical, and is only 5 hours long.

another audiobook, I definitely think this was improved by Rachel’s voice, I’m not sure I would have loved to read this writing style. love crazy ex-girlfriend more than most things.

Rachel Bloom. 5 stars.

I absolutely adore Rachel Bloom and reading this book just added to that. She’s witty, open, and discusses mental health in such a candid way that it really helps you feel not alone. She keeps the book light and entertaining while often discussing serious subjects, but not in a way that makes light of it. I would have loved it to be longer and to include more CXG anecdotes, but this isn’t so much a criticism, more an acknowledgement that I would devour as much as she would be willing to share.
