This book was heartbreakingly beautiful. I loved the short chapters and was really rooting for Charlie all the way through. The character stories are good but I felt like some of them seemed important and then just dwindled out. I've got the other three in the series so I'm looking forward to reading them.

I am not sure how to feel about this book just yet like I felt it could have explored the topics at hand better and in more depth instead of covering many topics and only very little about it. But part of the writing I did feel resonated with me. But this book is very triggering so please do not read it if you would find it bad for you.

This book took longer for me to read but because it was such a heavy topic. This is an intense contemporary book about the struggles with self-harm. The writing itself reminds me of a diary entry which is relevant to a few characters who would express themselves through journaling/writing.
