This book was relatable in a way that embarrasses me, and yet so unhinged. I'm so glad I am not at the level of complete mental instability of Amy, the protagonist. But I can't help but see myself in her situation, drifting away from reality and seeing how solitary she has become, with no noteworthy accomplishments to look back on. Her life struck off course by a few key traumatic situations that have since then eaten at her brain. This book was a mirror held up to my current situation, coaxing me to react, in any way, as long as I didn't stay idle anymore. As long as I'm not sitting around and feeling sorry for myself until the day I do anything, even something harmful, just to feel something. I wouldn't say reading this book was a pleasant experience but it might have been an important one for me. W 'll have to see down the road.
