I need The Dangerous Gift, I need to know what happened to Cricket and Snowfall.
Also-
Sundew+Willow=💜

Fantasy with lesbian dragons is all I ever wanted.

Loved the book but felt there were several characters who where just ignored for most of it and I wish I had more of it to read

I loved how Sundew developed in this book. Her voice was excellent, and it was great to see the personality that she hides from everyone. She remains independent, but we get to see how she learns to let others in, especially with Willow. While it did seem to develop very quickly after their first meeting, Sundew and Willow’s relationship was very cute. I loved how their personalities contrasted against each other. They were a great team together who look out for each other no matter what.

It was a bit of a slow start, but the pace picked up near the middle and at the end. The introduction to the Poison Jungle and the villages seemed a bit dull, even though the wildlife of the jungle is brilliantly written. The leafspeak ability was interesting, but I would have liked to know a little more about it. The consciousness of the plants was a bit strange, but it was a fascinating detail.

This book was a really exciting read and a change of pace from the previous two books. The twists were exciting and added more questions to the narrative that I can’t wait to be answered in the upcoming books.

An explosive third installment to the third part of this series, containing perhaps one of the biggest plot twists the series has ever had.

(4.25) (yes really) So far, this one is my favorite by a lot. There was an established romance instead of a constant inner monologue about the main character's crush on another dragon. Also I didn't know where the plot was going and I didn't anticipate the ending, which was a really nice change. Aside from that, we got our first queer protagonist and nobody was weird about her having a girlfriend! The main concern was that her girlfriend is from a different village. So that was cool too.
