Overview: Oh wow...what an emotional rollercoaster that was! At one point I was gripped to the page and ignored my husband while he was talking (which was his fault because he should know better than to disturb me while I'm reading). It was a slightly slow starter, but the chapters were nice and short and easy to fly through.

Good points: The big twist at the end had me reading the line several times thinking "what the f**k!" It was so cleverly written throughout the book. I really enjoyed the writing style too and really connected with the characters. I thought they were developed very well.

Not so good points: The only small thing I can say I didn't enjoy were the parts from Peter's POV. Not sure why but I didn't really enjoy them. I just wanted to skip them and get back into the dollhouse!

A very clever and twisted psychological thriller, which I highly recommend. Off I go to buy the next book in the series!

The Dollhouse was one hell of a messed up ride that had me hooked from the very beginning. There are so many twists, turns and secrets that I never saw coming which made the story even more intriguing. This book was creepy, twisted, intense and absolutely heartbreaking.

Missed many things.. but I dont care enough to repeat it. It's too boring

Just didn’t really work for me. Saw the twist coming. It felt like this was upsetting for the sake of it? I want there to be something more to my horror, not just misery for the sake of misery.

Creepy kidnapping story told from different perspectives. Story moved along quickly but I was confused by the dates at the beginning of each chapter which didn't seem to line up with the story. The twins were kidnapped on Aug 19, but chapter 32 Angel discovers that it's Sept 2, "that meant she and Bud had been here almost four months"

The book kept me reading for sure. But wow. It was intense. I am a mother of 4 and this book hit me hard. I can honestly say it gave me nightmares. The thought of what happens to these fictional characters is terrifying to think of when having children yourself. But I was drawn to the book. I had to keep reading and pushing through. I needed to know what the outcome was going to be.
