La novela gráfica me resultó más fácil de digerir qué la novela

I enjoyed this more than my reading of the actual book when I was a teenager. I remember thinking the dialogue felt forced and unrealistic especially the girl Montag meets in the beginning, thinking that no one actually talks that way. I was also comparing it to 1984 which was then (and to some extent still is) my favorite book which is an unfair comparison. Fahrenheit 451 is a good book, though I do think you have to suspend some disbelief to read the novel. The graphic novel does a good job of keeping the larger themes of the novel while eliminating some of the unnecessary details. A reread of the original might bear better fruit but for now the graphic format was the more enjoyable experience.

Book was so good i had to read it twice because I felt like just once was not doing it justice, and I found this copy, the illustrated adaptation and couldn't help myself but give it a go, I discovered that I prefer the original version but it was great reading it in a different format

I haven’t read F51, so the graphic novel was very confusing for me. For me, a good graphic novel adaptation is understandable and does not sacrifice the context of scenes in the original material, so it’s a no from me. However, I quite enjoyed the themes and story — I think once I read the novel version of F51, I can revisit this and change my thoughts. The art was beautiful though!

Having just read the book, I didn't enjoy this version as much as I might have otherwise. It was solid, but lacked the lyrically magnificent descriptions of the novel.
