While I liked the characters, I wish it was more closed door. I didn’t like the overall writing of those scenes.

This was an enjoyable read but it was honestly just like any other hockey romance I have read. It wasn’t disappointing cause I didn’t expect much going into this book. However I do have a few things that I would like to comment on:

First of all, personally, I feel like the third act break up was stupid and a bit dramatic. I mean I get it, he picked you up two hours late, but he literally told you why and it was reasonable

AND JAX also proved her a million times that he wasn’t like her father

I'm really enjoying the work of this author. This is my 3rd book from her and everytime I'm amazed and I can't put the book down. This book brought me giddiness, laughter, butterflies, tears and everything in between. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series and more. Jax was absolutely incredible, he did no wrong. The way he cared for her and constantly put her before everything else is the bare minimum. All characters are really well written and I can't wait for Mia's book. Sidney was a great MMC. I get why she was scared to open up but I think she did hold herself back too much from him but she was really smart and funny.

it was so cute, i liked how Jac was obsessed with her and how their relationship was built. i didn’t like Sidney’s behavior tho, always running and trying to end their relationship bc she was scared; i get it but if she explained that her trust issues came from her father, an NHL coach Jax could have handled things better and prevented them from breaking up.
otherwise it was good even tho i’m in a slump
