Firstly, even though this book is part of a series, don't be worried if you haven't read the other books (I haven't read all of them) because this is very much enjoyed on its own. This is the story of Benedict & Christina who are both a bit older than the normal 'debutante' characters in stories set in this time period. That makes for a character depth that is a bit more interesting. As usual with this author, there is humour thrown in along with the standard romance which makes for an altogether wonderful few hours spent reading. This story does receive its HEA but the Epilogue does flow into the next book in the series "Arabella's Taming".

I love this book! It's a little outside of my normal genre but it was so well written I didn't care. It had everything I wanted, compelling characters that made me interested in other books in the series, a dominating male figure who manages to be strong without being cruel or over the top, and well done believable 'actor's time. I'll be seeking out other works by this author for future reads.

I love these
...but...ma'am you're killing me. The English title is Marchioness....
Otherwise adorable and superb as always. Still well worth reading even if I had to mentally replace a word 100 times

What a fun read! This is the first book I've read by Golden Angel but I definitely have to count myself as a fan. The characters are so real. I want to meet and befriend them! Christina is a young widow who attempts to harden herself to love. She was doing just fine until she met dear old Benedict. Im sure you can imagine what happens next. So much angst with just the right amount of steamy. I can't wait to read more.

It's porn. It's discipline erotica. If you like that, you will enjoy this. It's not high-minded or a particularly good demonstration of good BDSM partner communication. It's sex with spankings- I had a good time.
This is my 2nd favorite book in the series. I quite liked Benedict although the irrational jealousy grated on me at times.
