Never got into it... even the second time!

I can see why this is not one of C.S. Lewis’ most remembered works. This is his retelling of the myth of Psyche and Eros but the vast majority of the novel is focused on Psyche’s sister.

I honestly spent most of the book confused. You can sort of see what Lewis was trying to do when you get to the ending but it just took so long to get to it and I didn’t follow most of the latter half of this book.

I love CS Lewis but maybe start with Narnia or his non-fiction works!
