I wish this had gone into everything a bit more in depth, including how mpreg works in this world, given the standard omega for pregnancy isn't what seems to be required.
There could have been a more realised bad guy than simply 'the bad guys', and I would have liked to know the motivation for each side more. Nick ends up being the hero of the people, but we don't get to see him interacting with them at all.
I liked Arit, and wished we could have seen more of his lodge and tours. It's a shame being the Emporer's mate takes precedence huh?
