TRIGGER WARNING!! Please read the trigger warning before you read this book.
Man oh man what a ride this book takes you on. The title really fits how Eve leaves her readers. She destroys us with this book.
Ruby is so so strong and the things that she has gone through really is a testament to how strong she is. And how much her men love her.
This book destroyed me in the best ways i know I’m going to have a book hangover. I cannot wait until book 3!

I'm not sure how I feel about this series. On one hand, it's fairly enjoyable and I really like the relationships that Ruby has with each of her men (and together). On the other hand, Ruby is revered to be this cold hearted, ruthless woman, a freaking Black Widow, and all we've seen from her is someone who is frequently in over her head and taking off on half thought out plans and getting hurt. I wanted to scream at her when they got back from Ireland and she tried to run off on her own AGAIN. Thank god Declan knew what she was up to and stopped her.

Don't get me wrong, the group scenes in this book are so hot. We've even added Declan's twin brother, Cillian, to the mix. But the plot seems to really be relying on sex instead of literally anything else to keep the reader interested. The resolution to the threat that Connor (head of the Irish mafia) posed was very anticlimactic. It's obvious that this book is attempting to have some semblance of a plot outside of the spicy scenes, and I just don't think the author put enough into the actual storyline. However, I'll still read book 3 since they are pretty short and I'm enjoying myself enough to continue.

Destroy... what an apt name for this book, because wow. This is such a wild and emotional ride, be prepared. This is the second book in the Deadly Hearts series and very much worth the read. It is filled with trigger please take note of them before fully diving into this dark book. I am liking Ruby, more and more, it continues to show how strong she is and how much she is a survivor. This is a captivating read and I loving this series.

Eve has written another masterpiece. I do have to say there are trigger warnings with this book for good reason so be aware of that. In destroy we see Ruby go through something that no one should go through and would destroy so many. Watching her go through the motions was heartbreaking but being able to see her claim her life back was inspiring especially know a lot of people wouldn’t be able to. Having her men there to support her and back her up was an added bonus. Ruby is still the kick butt Black Widow that we came to know and love in the first book. I love how when one villain is taken care of another pops up with a twist to boot. I also loved seeing her relationships grow with her men and her addition to them. The ending definitely left me hanging I can’t wait to see what happens with her and the mission she is being out on! I cannot wait for the next book.
