I would have given this book 4stars up until the last 20% of the book. The MMC is her best friend for 20 years and then treats her like shit without listening to her side of the story, kisses (and almost more) with someone else, and then she just automatically forgives him. Nope. I’m out. That totally killed it for me.

This was cute and quick romance read for me. I definitely enjoyed the characters and am a sucker for a hockey romance. Definitely got me emotional with the confessions and conflict in act 3. Though I do wish there had been more groveling as well as I felt a little dissatisfied with the proposal.
