What a way to kick off a new anthology series. I love all things Disney! This was so fun and creative.

I don’t remember the original story so there is no basis of comparison. Feels like the usual fairytale plot.

This is the kind of story that would be much better enjoyed in an animated film to bring out the magical elements in it. But not a bad read.

Jasmine has always been my favourite princess, and I'd say in my top 5 favourite Disney movies. My promise ring from my boyfriend is even Jasmine themed.

This twisted tale was okay, I used the audiobook that they put on Libby but also followed along with the physical book in hand. I am so glad that my library finally got this as an audiobook. The ending was interesting but the beginning of the story felt a lot like the movie, this book was suppose to be a retelling. Aladdin I know did really love Jasmine and that shows in the book and in the movie a well. I have read quite a few of the retellings and some of them fall flat and some of them are good and enjoyable to read. I always hated Jafar as a character he was just such a mean person and sucked as a human being. I will continue to read the twisted tale stories because there are some good ones in there and they are interesting. This book I wouldn't have DNF'd cause there some things that were interesting in this book. I feel like this book could have been so much better.

I will keep continuing to read the Twisted tales books.

When I started this book, I couldn't put it down. The beginning of the book was very interesting, and it was a good twist on the Disney movie Aladdin. The book could definently be a movie, in my opinion. It had a similar plot to the movie, but the differences were major differences that made the book fascinating and not just a book version of the movie. I love this whole series of twisted tales. If this is your first twisted tale book, I recommend that you read more of them.
