Bad Penny is a bad betch. This is Staci Hart's steamiest, most hilarious writing yet, and I couldn't get enough. Between the hilarious one-liners that had me spitting out my wine and the steamy, intense scenes that had me blushing like a school girl, this romantic comedy was a home run for me.

Penny is me. She's you. She's pretty much every girl trying to figure out the dating world in 2017. Except SHE has a plan, one that's worked very well for her up until now -- until Bodie. And that's what I love most about this book. It's basically a role reversal. Here's this GIRL who doesn't have time for relationships, who doesn't want to get into feelings, who has a very strict 3 date rule. But how can you stop at just 3 nights with Bodie who is an absolute GOD in the sack, not to mention hilarious and smart to boot?

Hart always writes amazing characters, but the way these two interacted, the chemistry between them, the witty banter -- it was absolutely flawless. I fell in love right along with them, and I'm still reeling.

The Queen of romantic comedy is back and better than ever, proving yet again that no one writes sexy hilarity quite like Staci Hart. Bad Penny isn't just rom com gold, it's platinum.

If you want to laugh, read this book. If you want to swoon, read this book. And if you want to continue falling even more in love with Staci Hart and her brilliance, well... you get it. ;)

This is Staci Hart at her very best. Fun, sexy, and laugh-out-loud hilarious, Bad Penny is hands down my favorite romantic comedy of 2017. Simply brilliant!

First of all, I literally can't get over just how much I love the cover picture.
That girl is beyond beautiful! She gives me some serious Ryan Ashley, from Ink Master vibes.

I didn't even have to read the first chapter to know that this was going to be a funny ass book. Just by reading the chapter names, I was rolling on the floor laughing.

Penny has to be the wildest, most carefree, doesn't care what people think type of girl. I loved her. Sure, she had her insecure and whiny moments where I wanted slap some sense into her, but all for due reason. Because #FUCK YOU, BRAD.

The chemistry between Bodie and Penny was off the charts. I'm talkin' bout on the bed, wall, upside down and everywhere your dirty imagination can take you.

(Not much of a spoiler since the blurb says it)
But I enjoyed the fact that for once it was the female with trust issues and not the guy, as it always seems to be.

Overall, this book was a great read. It was the perfect trifecta of witty, sexy and sweet.

Another great read! I absolutely love this group of friends! Their crazy, loving and relatable. Penny and bodie had some amazing chemistry from that first lick of ice cream. I loved that they had a past, Bodie was a swoon worthy book boyfriend! Can't wait to read the story for this group of characters ❤️

Full of Hart's signature humor and wit, this story is particularly adept at trope subversion. The narrative is full of steamy scenes and laugh-out-loud passages. Penny and Brodie are perfect foils for each other. Add in strong female friendships, and minimal angst, and you have a pretty perfect book.

Don't let the title fool you. Penny is anything but bad. She's sweet and sexy, bold and brash, skittish and scattered, free and fun and funny as hell. But bad? Never. Penny's the absolute best. She's the girl you always wanted to be, falling for the guy you always wanted to be with. What could be better than that?

Bad Penny was a cute read. Now I'll be honest it did take me awhile to warm up to the story. Or really to warm up to Penny. She was...her topics of conversation were a bit much for me. Or too much the way she talked about it. No judgment, it is fine if you talk like that/enjoy the way she talks, but it was just eh for me. Not my favorite. Though slowly but surely she won me over. Plus Bodie was freaking amazing and I loved him right from the start! Another great read from this author.

Penny has rules. No dating past the third date. That is when things get tricky, when strings get added, and she does not want strings. She tried the whole boyfriend thing before and someone always gets crazy. Either she gets crazy, which she doesn't want, or they get crazy, which she also doesn't want. Though when she meets Bodie things start to get tricky anyways. Can she really keep seeing him past the third date and not have strings? Can she really keep her heart out of it when she is so attracted to him and he is kind of perfect? Will she risk it to see what will happen?

Bodie is so freaking adorable and sexy and smart and hot and amazing! Seriously he is like perfect. Perfect for Penny, perfect for...well just perfect. He is patient, he knows if he comes on too strong he will scare Penny away. He never thought he would actually have a shot with Penny, but to do so he has to play it right. He knows she will get scared away if he just professes his love or something, so he is happy seeing how far this can go. Ultimately he will be with Penny forever, but if not then he at least will have as much time as he can with her. I loved Bodie. He was the best! Seriously. He knew exactly what to do and how to give Penny when she needed even if she didn't know it. He didn't get all possessive or jealous or want to keep her down. In fact he wants her to fly, wants her to stay the same as she is now. Only with him in her life as well. He never wants to hold her back, but breaking down those walls can take time. Will he be able to? Will he get is happily ever after?

These two were so sweet together. I know it started off so so with Penny for me, but I loved her with Bodie. They were so hot together! And so much more. This was a really fun read.
