My Margaret Ronan-tober continues apace. This was the weakest one so far. I definitely would have devoured this as a kid, but it has that cultural voyeur thing about it that makes it tough to read now.
I had heard a little about Zoroastrian burial rituals from my former boss who was from Zanzibar (as was noted Zoroastrian Freddie Mercury), but they really are my favorite, I think, and what I would wish for myself were it feasible. They show up in this book.
