Adjusting my rating of this book on account of a supremely disappointing third installment that continues with the obsessive focus on only three members of the harem while the other two seem to become cardboard. The author shouldn't have added 5 men to the harem if they weren't committed to developing 5 fully fledged relationships.

--Original rating: 4 stars, thinking the author was going to be reasonable--
I think my greatest disappointment for this book was the realisation that the series wasn't a duet. But I suppose it's nice to know I get a treat later this month where I can jump back in with Ivy and the Ghosts.

This book saw more development in Ivy's relationship with Wraith, as well as her cutting a bit more slack for Whiskey. I feel that we're not seeing enough of Thane's point of view, and that there isn't much interaction between Thane and Ivy, which is making it a bit hard to justify his presence in the harem. We're seeing a lot of the others, but mainly to keep the story flowing.

I feel like maybe the word "love" still got thrown about too early considering that they've got miles to go growing their relationship, but the animosity between the Ghosts seems very natural and ultimately like they may become the pack they were meant to be. Let's see what book three brings.

Sweet baby Wraith. He was really the star of the show πŸ–€ I am obsessed with Lenore's writing. You get great character development, plot progression, action/adventure, romance/spice.
