The relationships with the characters are the same at the end as it was at the beginning. I did see the point Marivaux was trying to make, but going ‘well I criticized this but I’m not going to change it’ was weird.

This is an interesting play! I like the way the main characters exchange their roles at the beginning of the story and the servant takes the master's position and vice-versa. This is very funny especially when the servants engage in small talk and make it sound very ridiculous, I was easily folded in 7 when I read some parts of the play! Marivaux has a talent for writing this kind of comedy that is completely ridiculous!

Une pièce légère, que j'ai pu finir dans même pas deux heures, un vrai plaisir, les principes que nous transmette Marivaux sont compréhensibles de plus en plus à travers la pièce.
Vraiment un des livres que je pourrai lire plus d'une fois, en découvrant un nouveau détail avec chaque lecture.
