This was 4.5 stars but I'm rounding it up to 5.

The main reason it wasn't perfect for me was the amount of repetition. It feels like there were long stretches, especially at the beginning, where they just repeated what happened with previous events. There were also a few times where the author repeated what happened just a few pages before.

That being said, I was completely taken by surprise by the amount of emotion that this story evoked from me, which led me to ugly crying during the entire middle section of the book.

I think that this book concluded in such a nice way, too. I'm really looking forward to the fourth volume, but I also don't feel like I'm completely left hanging, either.
