i think i just haven’t been in the mood for it so i might pick it up again, but i really couldn’t be bothered to wait for it to get to the point.

I had time on a plane to finish this one quickly, but man, it was a slog. The premise of the book sounded incredible - Shakespeare, his marriage, death of his son Hamnet and the inspiration for Hamlet… But no amount of good writing can change the repetitive nature of the story that could have been a novella. Painfully slow!
