To teach probably, this book took awhile to suck me in, but the punch is that last chapter when Jekyll explains his motivations. I look forward to pondering that more.

Interesting concept but it dragged a little even though it was only 50 pages long- Mr Utterson was incredibly boring and it would’ve been better from Dr Jekyll’s pov from the start.

It's a classic I don't dislike the way I am finding I often do. It did not age as badly as some do. The distasteful parts are supposed to be, so it isn't the same as reading a classic that expects you to agree with them.

4.5 stars!
What an interesting books and idea! I loved the narration of the book, really nice to read. And just has mr Jekyll said, there is both evil and good in every man and this book really shows it! I truly recommened this book if you want a nice and short read for an evening! It really speaks about human kind and shows us how humans aren't good nor evil but both.
