The Endless is a anthology of five short horror stories, all very different in its sub-genre and fears. Each story tells a tale of character in a nightmare scenario and they don't disappoint. Really fun read! Hope you enjoy!

Unbothered - 5/5
Great main character, connected immediately. A surprise thrilling adventure, fast pace action fight between light and dark.

Cat Dad - 4/5
A lonely man's search for his beloved cat turns into an unfortunate day. A cat enjoying his day wonders what the hell is with the man that feeds him.

Beautiful - 4/5
Sometimes an obsession goes to far, other times it's just.. beautiful.

The Endless - 4/5
Love is a strong, powerful thing. Is it powerful enough to deal with out of this world things?

The Last Hike - 3/5
A man goes on a hike with his boyfriend, trying to make his mind on whether or not the relationship should end. And it all unravels the end of the trail.

the compilation of short stories is definitely an interesting take, with the cat POV being my favorite. i think the stories had interesting plots, that were as well developed as can be given how short they are. the author does a good job of stating some content warnings, however it’s worth stating that they are graphic when reading.

Delightfully gross and descriptive! I found each story so unique and creative. Some scenes definitely made my skin crawl.

Brandon did a great job giving these characters personality and backstories in such a short number of pages.

Bonus points for the cat pov 🐈

I have been in a reading slump for WEEKS and this took me right out of it! I absolutely loved these short stories. They were gripping, surprising, and disturbing (in the absolute best way). This was such a fun read and I hope Brandon continues to write in the future, the imagery was fantastic, I felt like I was standing right there in every story.

More cat POVs in horror! MORE CAT POVS IN HORROR! 
 
The Endless and Other Stories is a 5-story collection that will keep you up at night. Each story is so unique (in both plot and writing style) and will make your heart pound while still yearning for more. 
 
It’s sometimes gory & violent, sometimes otherworldly, and sometimes serves up dark humor. There’s a mix of thriller and horror elements – nothing veers too far into “extremely disturbing”, but they are all unsettling in their own way. And many were open-ended and left you with a lot to chew on; I think they could easily be expanded. 
 
Brandon is a wonderful book reviewer & recommender and it’s clear he’s learned from his reading! This collection was so compelling, and I can’t wait until he releases something in a longer form.
