Nothing but miscommunication and pining but I adored every second of it! These two idiots are so in love and so oblivious I WISH it had been written with a dual pov. It’s been a minute since my heart has hurt for a character but Arek had me aching. He’s just trying to what he thinks is best and make the most of what he doesn’t want. Everything I love in a book, Yearning, Pining, Magic, an iconic Bi-King (literally), Found Family and more!! Throws you in right after the action so I did think I had accidentally started with a book 2 in a series so fair warning on that. I could read like 3 more books about Arek and Matt though, loved them.

A fun read! Writing style is pretty young adult (as it should be) and what I would call “fan-fic” type writing, at first it was almost too cringy to bear but eventually I did fall in love with the characters and the story and overall it was a super great read.
