I very much enjoyed this one. A great read and the fear family is absolutely fascinating. Do not wanna say too much as I do not want to give away spoilers but give this book a try!

I loved this book! The ending wasn't the happy one I wanted, but I shouldn't expect happy endings every time with this author. I've read a lot of Stine's books/series about the Fear Family. It's interesting to keep learning more about them.

The fact that Ruth in the book resambled me awfully a lot, has made this book a thousand times more enjoyable for me. Hahaha.

Beginning of a gorey future
This isn't the first Fear book I read. I started reading random ones I found on Overdrive. Then I came across the books that tell where it all started. It's neat to see how it all came about. The rumors of Fear Street and the evil behind it all. I loved how gruesome this book was. Very fun to read!

Wow! Gripping!
I was hooked from page one. This is a great book and I can’t wait to read the rest of this saga!
This book just adds to why R. L. Stine is one of my favorite authors.

This was terrible. I devoured the Fear Street books when I was a kid/teen and thought I’d reread one as a throw back. surely wouldn’t have read something so basic and simple. I can’t figure out if this was part of the original series (I don’t think it was). This was written as if the audience was 8-10 years old. Very simple basic language and story telling. It was awful and if any longer I would have DNFd this.

Well...I finished it. And all I have to say is...the fuck? I just can't. I'm sorry. I felt it was badly written (more so than usual), read like bad fanfiction and didn't make much sense, like physics being ignored, stuff being way too convenient, cliches and predictability. I'm sorry but I just can't.
