this is the perfect book to read during ramadan! it’s such a cute rom-com that deals with other important topics like islamphobia. the romance is adorable and the characters are so vivid and real! i love the family relationships too! i enjoyed reading this book a lot!

This was such a cute & wholesome read! I love that Islam and other sensitive topics were broadly mentioned and discussed! I feel so close to the characters, even the ones that didn't appear as much (I wish I got more than glimpses of Ibrahim, he seemed like such a sweet and nice guy) I also enjoyed following Dua as she learned more and worked through some of her issues; watching her grow into herself was a satisfying and touching experience!! Lastly, this feeling of a tight community made me feel like I was there too, and it made my Ramadan less lonely and more fun! I definitely recommend picking up this book!!! (and I recommend reading it during Ramadan too!)

This had some great messages on interracial marriages and Islamaphobia. It was also nice to read a novel that was written for Muslims--not as many explanations as some authors have. My only problem with this was that it read like a Pakistani drama.
