Im having a hard time choosing if I should round up or down, ill go down for now
Overall the book was fun. None of it was really boring and I was kept engaged throughout it.
The one thing that I found weird is that its super ,,, white? Like the Askari are a species normally with varying shades of grey skin. They're also cat-like, idk why they are called demons, cat aliens seems more suited. And paleness is something kind of foreign and undesireable to them [There seems to be one pale Askari and everyone hates him because hes pale? idk what thats all about but Im actually curious to see more of him cause he seemed an interesting little fellow ]. And all the humans they encounter are... white. So its just like??? Weird erasure and lack of black and brown people. So yeah the book is just extremely white.
Theres a lot of instability in the plot and shit that doesnt add up or make sense, but it was just fun to read and made me giggle so thats why its rated this high. im a bitch for alien romances
