OH MY GOD. PLOT TWISTS GALORE. This was my first one day read in years. Probably one of my favorite thrillers ever…!!
Ending had me shook, was here for an entertaining time and I got it.
The basis for a plot was there. But there were soo many moments where I just wanted to skim past. Lily kept pissing me off with all her dumb acts or responses. The grandmother was the best part.
It’s not really a thriller, more of a marital scandal.

I couldn't put this book down. It was a good! After DNFing "local woman missing" by Mary I gave her another shot. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and didn't see the end coming!
I went in with high expectations because I liked Local Girl Missing so much, and this one just didn’t quite hit it for me. But I still enjoyed the read! Full of suspense and several twists!

It was meh. None of the characters were super likable so I didn't really care what happened to them in the end. Lily's character was so meek and Christian just did whatever she wanted when she was clearly lying the whole time. Adding a star back for Nina doing the right thing in the end.
“The line between right and wrong is getting more blurry with each day.”
I love thrillers and I'd heard people really liked this book and author, so I was excited to start this one but I felt like it missed the mark a little. It kept my attention enough to finish it but I don’t think it was a super excited thriller, there isn’t much action and the ending comes as a bit of a letdown. It was pretty slow for the first 85% of the book and the last 15% didn’t give too much of a wow factor. I suspected the plot twist about halfway through and the ending was subpar.
