I generally expect more from this author so I was disappointed with the slow pace. It seemed too repetitive, and while the twisted ending was a great surprise, it wasn’t nearly enough payoff for the rest of the book :(

2⭐️. Holy boring! Nothing happens, this was not thrilling, new or fun. No twists you can’t see coming… kept hoping for it to get good and I never did.
