This book was one of the most inspiring, yet light-hearted, books I have ever read on writing. I just found it in a thrift shop one day and read through it in just 3 days, it literally changed my view on life a little bit. It is written by an ancestrally Jewish woman who also practices Buddhism, so there are some religious themes, but they aren't prevalent. It is more her writing about her experiences and thoughts on writing and being a writer.
