Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC!

I honestly didn't know how I would feel about the book, as I have never read April Asher before and I didn't realize until later this was a sequel, but I enjoyed it! It wasn't hard to umder what was going on although I would recommend reading in order. I loved having a strong female main character and I loved the supernatural romance aspect. The banter was witty and super cute.

I loved Not Your Ex's Hexes!! Such a fantastic follow up to Not the Witch You Wed.

The banter and chemistry between Rose and Damian was perfection. And I love how close and supportive the Maxwell sisters are. I cannot wait for Olive's story.

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin's Press for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Rom coms are helping me get through these last several months and the ones ahead of me, too. My beautiful friend, @book.musing, is a fan of April Asher’s books and strongly suggested I read Not the Witch You Wed before Not Your Ex’s Hexes, so I did! And she was absolutely right!

About the book: “In April Asher’s next Supernatural Singles novel, Not Your Ex's Hexes, a one-night-stand between a willful witch and a broody half-demon conjures an adventure that wouldn’t be complete without several magical mishaps.”

I think you can tell from that synopsis this one is spicy, so spicy, and a little different with witches and half-demons! It gave me True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse vibes, while feeling like completely its own thing, too.

If you are looking for something completely fresh and different, or if you already happen to love paranormal romance, this is such a refreshing, magical read. I loved these characters and their journey together. I adored the writing. I already checked out book 3 with its cover and can’t wait for it!

I received a gifted copy.

This is a fun second book in the Supernatural Singles series, and it lets us get a closer look at the second of the triplets, Rose, and her life. It seems particularly fitting that she gets a chance to step to the forefront after her life got a bit imploded in the first book, and we find her busy finding herself. It was nice to see how she was honest about needing to try out new things and see how she felt about them before selecting a path forward. The book is full of magic and romance and is another very enjoyable entry in the series. There is definite set up for Olive, who will hopefully get her turn next!

I’ve never read any of April Asher’s books before, and went in to this book essentially blind.

I won’t lie, when I first picked it up, I put it down pretty fast. I almost DNFd it because I just didn’t get in to it.

However, I picked it back up yesterday and I’m glad I did.

While this book starts off kind of slow, about 30-40% in it really picked up and immersed me in to the world of Damian and Rose. I loved the spin on the ignorant bad body turned good guy and the intelligent female. Mix in some demon and witch = Wha lah!

This was cute! I like the development of the characters in this book. They are more 3 dimensional then your typical romance!
