Not Your Ex's Hexes

This was a cute book, although it did not grab be like the first one, I am not fond of the miscommunication trope, to be honest, and this is what it seemed to me, I saw what the hex was about from the very beginning, but they were cute together, and I enjoyed it although it wasn’t that I had to know what happened but that well, I invested all this time, might as well finish it.

I enjoyed this one! I liked both main characters, loved that there were animals being saved, and liked how it was set in NY so it was fun to envision things happening in places I have been to before.
Did anyone else think that putting those live feed cameras would lead to an accidental porno being made?! Lol cause that was my first thought 🤣
I also can'tbe the only one to be shocked that Rose ends up continuing with bounty hunting. I figured she might start her own foundation and continue doing amazing work like she did for the animal sanctuary.

I would not mind continuing to read this series and getting to know the rest of the Maxwell sisters.

Most of the book was good. Solid, witchy romcom. Lazy resolution to the hex.
The resolution felt like way to end it without conflict even though what the witch did was immoral and highly looked down on. It also has no ultimate consequences.
The whole thing didn’t make much sense.

Book on no string attached relationship that was incredibly steamy between two characters named Rose and Damian. Both characters were very strong willed, which made the story interesting. The supernatural aspect of the book was spectacular. I enjoyed how the attraction between the two were intense but they kept battling it. I had never read a book by April Asher and now I want to read more of her books. It was exciting, kept me wanting more. Bonus about this book that made it even more special is the name of the animal sanctuary. It has my name Marisol which is very unusual and not common. This is the second book I have ever read that had my name used. The rescue animals setting is great.
