Okay so, I've managed to read 4/6 books by Mickey Miller in the span of 1 week and I say this because obviously it have to mean something, right? Yes it does! It means that Mickey knows his sh*t! So to my review of The Casanova Experience: Part friends to lovers, part second chance romance, I like that, no wait, I love stories like that, wanna know why? Because they gut you from the beginning, keep your heart beating in between and finally gives you the the air you need to breathe, you know, for relief.

Remember Amy from 'Playing Dirty'? Well, this is her story. Amy's character is one of the few characters that I've read about whose background and issues are relatable. Young and beautiful, Amy suffers from depression and we follow her on her adventure to Barcelona, where she studies abroad. While staying with a 'host' mother, she meets her 'host' brother, the sexy Casanova Chandler. Chandler is instantly attracted to her smart mouth, beauty, and the fact that she's not quick to jump his bones. So she's playing hard to get, mega kudos because her attraction is immediate too and she's fighting it, real hard. Both, in straight up denial about their attraction and chemistry, they agree to stay friends for the short time they're in Barcelona. Ugh! Trust me I know! But she has her reasons AND he too has his reasons, bear with me here.

Fast forward 5 1/2 years later and fate has brought them back, meeting on a plane to Barcelona, where Chandler now lives and well, Amy is suppose to be on with her boyfriend for their anniversary BUT is now single. I don't want to give too much so I'll just say that Amy and Chandler's attraction and chemistry is still there and it's only gotten stronger.

You'll enjoy their dialogue, back to forth bantering/flirting, learning their about their background, and of course the steamy and hot sex!

Another great story from Mickey; can't wait to read Professor with Benefits - til then, Happy Reading!

Where do I begin?!

This is one of the best books I've read so far this year. It's brilliant, sexy, truthful. A novel about self discovery not only by yourself but through other people.

I felt a huge connection with Amy. She's a fiery breath of fresh air with no filter that has a huge desire to help others, even at the cost of her own happiness sometimes.

Amy and Chandler's story is a story of missed opportunities and second chances. A story of undeniable appreciation and passion for another. I couldn't put it down. The buildup is amazing and once you get to a certain point in the novel you get to experience an explosion of emotion, among other things!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and I am so glad I did. Nothing but net, Mickey! I believe this is hands down your best work so far. 5 stars without a doubt! I'm looking forward to your next novel!

We met Amy in book 1 and she became an instant favorite. But she has a secret from years ago that has kept her from starting any relationship. it is not until a trip to Barcelona will bring Chandler back in her life.....but can you stay in love with the man of your dreams if you both live on opposite continents? Or will his Casanova flair be too much to overcome? Great characters and great storyline leads this book to be a great read.

Men or women or relationships do NOT “cure” mental health issues. It’s incredibly irresponsible of the author to have the h go off her depression meds because of the H and then to have her go on about not wanting to be a “slave” to medications. Is the author a clinical psychiatrist? Many people who have mental health issues and who are clinically depressed need medications for their whole lives. This does not make them less of a person or weak. Stop stigmatizing mental health issues!

Good Story Overall

This is the epitome of a slow burn turned inferno.

The chemistry between these two was on point from their first meeting to their very last on page encounter.

The book has some typos and grammar issues that could use fixing but that can be set aside for the sake of the story.

I really liked how these two ebbed and flowed together. They talked about everything and nothing, they always vowed to tell each other the absolute truth.

The way he told her he wasn’t a typical relationship person but he wanted to be HER person. He didn’t want to follow in the footsteps of the man who gave him life.

Beautiful ending and very fitting for this couple ❤️

OMG! THIS BOOK was soooo good!

You get the book in two parts. One part when they are in Barcelona studying abroad. Amy goes over still in a relationship with her boyfriend and Chandler just your hot-shot college basketball player getting "muchas chicas". Amy deals with depression along with failed relationships and then Chandler who will not commit to a relationship due to what he has seen growing up. On a night out, Amy makes it clear and Chandler agrees that they should just be friends. She doesn't want to be another girl for a one-night stand and well, Chandler doesn't fully agree with this arrangement but goes with it because he will take Amy any way he can. The tension is there and at one point during part one you feel they will give in but Amy let's her insecurities, past relationships get in the way, and they do with reason, and they end up parting ways with no way to connect with each other.

Then you get part two and this is when it get extra - hot. Chandler is playing Euroball and Amy is flying back to Barcelona which should of been with her boyfriend for a trip for the two of them but she found him cheating. They end up bumping into each other and spending the 10 days Amy has there picking up right were they left off. The friendship pact is brought up but it is definitely not withheld and these two turn in to friends to lovers. I enjoyed how Chandler and Amy had a relationship built on friendship. They grew together. They shared things they didn't or haven't shared with each other and just wanted to be there for each other. Within the 10 days they were able to be friends and did not disappoint each other in the bedroom. Chandler was diiiiirty but Amy matched up with him.

This was my second read by Mickey and honestly it was better then the first. The drama was there, the spice was there as well!!!! A whole lot of spice actual. At times Amy did get annoying, especially nagging about the whole father thing but I guess there was reason as to why. I will definitely recommend and reread this book!

oh Casanova

This book was a first for this author. It’s a Slow burn but oh so good! I loved Amy & chandler’s chemistry. I didn’t want the book to end honestly. But I definitely recommend this book and will be reading more of him. Spice was 3.5/5 but again still really good.
