Freida’s first two books in the series are better tbh. I really wanted to keep seeing Millie being a badass, but instead just got a watered down domestic version of her. It was a much slower read too, I felt like it didn’t really get interesting till after part 2 and even then, it stilled moved pretty slow. The twists were interesting, but I wish we got to them sooner. There were a lot of fluff chapters that didn’t seem necessary. Was excited to see past characters return though and discover more parts of Millie’s past.
