You would think having read this before would have made it less enjoyable but if anything it's the opposite. This series is actually exactly what I need to be reading at this point in time. We all need to be catching fire right now.
I read half of this book and listened to half of it through a recording; I hope that counts.
My biggest annoyance with the Hunger Games series so far(and ok, I understand that it's intended for teenagers so maybe I'm just being nitpicky) is Katniss's carefully cultivated humility. Occasionally, she'll go on long tangents about conclusions that make no sense or are clearly wrong. WE KNOW YOU ARE SMART, KATNISS! DON'T BULLSHIT US!
Otherwise, yeah. Engaging storyline, fun to read (and hear); I'll look forward to eventually reading the last book.

Okay, I am going to preface this with:
This is the movie I am most familiar with. I couldn’t help but compare the book to how I remembered the movie, and it was in my opinion, a very good book to movie adaptation. Though I do admit, poor Katniss and Peeta are just propaganda and movie stars and the book focused more on the role of the capital versus the actual games itself, thank goodness. I like that there was less child redrum in this book than the previous ones.
