I finished this book in less than 24 hours. I could not put this book down. Despite being a middle book which usually means that the book will simply be a filler, I was thoroughly interested most of this book. There were only a few chapters that I thought were simply too long. The only thing holding this book back from a four star rating is the info dumping at the end and how long it took for the games to start. In my notebook I gave this book a high 3 star rating (3.6 or 3.7 I think). I am going to take a break before moving onto the last book.

I thought the pacing was a bit quick, but maybe that's because I just came off a much longer book (The Well of Ascension). But man, by the end, I couldn't put it down.
