Oh, wrong version so let's try this again....

description

Nope...still wrong story....

description

Sort of closer though there IS a reindeer in here but he's an actual chatty talking reindeer named Ralph. So maybe the fourth time is the charm????

description
Yep, that's better. It's the Snow Queen story that Jonah and Abby jump into this time alongside their dog Prince but Prince is turned into....

description
No, not one of Jadis' stone statues but the poor dog is turned into a docsicle aka an ice sculpture! So it's up to Abby and Jonah to save not just Prince but help another character in this fairytale save her friend and along the way they meet a band of robbers (who Jonah thinks is an actual band that robs and makes a guitar motion every time someone says 'band' of robbers, and well, in the end of this story something BIG happens and well, you'll just have to read for yourself.

And for any mom's looking for good books for their kids to read these are it hands down! In fact, I was rating them until [b:Bad Hair Day|18527499|Bad Hair Day (Whatever After, #5)|Sarah Mlynowski|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1389053647l/18527499._SX50_.jpg|26232957] and decided to rate them a 5 since it does seem for me personally I feel like these books are getting cuter and cuter as they go on! :D And I'm adoring them!

As for the title, I'm going to be honest and say how I first thought of that Foreigner song above and for a few days before and even during this reading, the song was stuck in my head *laughing* and then Frozen characters were mentioned in this so as you can see I had somewhat fun writing this particular review and will be the "longest" review perhaps for this series. But I couldn't help it with some pictures above rather than put one from the actual Snow Queen story and have some fun with this review in particular.

- I thought Beauty and the Beast was supposed to be next? I guess Frozen/The Snow Queen was too much to resist writing about.

- I'm glad the fairy tale twists are based on the original fairy tales and not Disney's version.

- As usual, this was cute, fun, and humorous. This was a clever twist on The Snow Queen, and I'm sure my daughter will enjoy this.

- I love that Abbey admitted to being bossy! I complained about that in the last book, and she fessed up to it. Abbey is definitely improving in that department.

- I liked the Frozen references, and I liked that Abbey and Jonah realize and acknowledge the differences in the Frozen and the original story.

- I love that the goal in this story was to save the dog!

- I think I keep reading these because the characters are endearing, the lessons are good ones, and I find these a light, fun, and cute read.

- I wonder what will happen in the next books, the ending had a little twist/surprise, and I'm not sure how this will play out. The fairy in the mirror intrigues me. I want to meet her! What is her plan for Abbey and Jonah?

I like this one because it had an eerier aspect with the Snow Queen.

This was a really cute story and I am really in love with this series. If you are reading this Amelia, prepare yourself to read this series to your kids!!! Fun and interesting way of looking at the old fairy tales, and what would happen if you knew the story and accidentally changed it! This series is great because it makes kids stop and learn that the Disney version of a story isn't usually the same as the original. And that sometimes those original stories didn't make a whole lot of sense haha. Fun and funny I can't wait to read more in this series.

In this one they jump into the story of The Snow Queen, which I've never read, nor am I familiar with.

Lesson learned: don't force people to be your friends.

The ending at home was crazy! Oh no! Jonah!
