I actually really enjoyed this entry in the series. I felt that the Langslows were getting a little over the top in some of the recent entries, and it was getting jarring instead of interesting. This one is more toned down, which is surprising considering the main plot involves a curmudgeonly Santa Claus who is killed by (maybe) one of the geese in the Holiday Parade. I think it's the lack of family involvement--it's really just Meg and Michael, for the most part, with the remaining family members thrown in to spice it up instead of take over.

Christmas themed murder mystery with humor. Funny as always with the usual cast of characters.

Exactly as expected. Christmas themed thriller for those who would rather murder than mistletoe over the holidays

This was an especially adorable Meg Langslow Christmas cozy mystery, with Meg and Michael’s house in Caerphilly serving as the starting point for the Twelve Days of Christmas parade that Meg is organizing.
I always love seeing all the exotic animals in the books in this series, and this one had elephants
