This book saved the series for me. It took a lot of effort to get into but it truly wrapped up so beautifully and emotions were high. Overall I give the series a 3.5 as it just didn’t capture my attention as much as I hoped it would.

“Hope isn’t the sickness,it’s the cure.”

Now that’s a quote I will always keep in my back pocket,to just keep reminding myself that it’s okay to hope,to dream of something better.

Gods &Monsters was truly a masterpiece, I always say a trilogy allows me to meet the characters in the first book, love and root for the characters in the second and accept and say goodbye in the third. That’s what this series allowed me to do. G&M was exactly what I hoped it would be.

Lou&Reids love story is one that is so very special to me,it shows how despite background, opinions and beliefs love prevails.

I’m also very happy that we got closure with Ansel and he found his piece,I may have cried a lot but it’s fine.

I seriously loved this series from start to finish,I’m so happy that Lou,Reid,Coco and Beau and everyone else(besides Morgane and Josephine because f^*# you) got their happy ending.I also was not expecting to love Nicholina as much as I did. I truly felt her pain and just how far a mother would go to save their child. She deserves so much more, and I hope she got reunited with her boy. ❤️

Overall this story ,series ,world was amazing I’m so sad it’s over but these characters truly deserve their happy ending and time to heal and rebuild.

I’m secretly hoping Shelby decides to do a prequel series about Angelica and the The Melusines, the underwater chapters were so interesting and just magical!

1000/5
thank you Shelby for this world and characters ❤️
