London was still recovering from surgery, and increasingly grumpy about the fact that they were yet unable to tap-dance away from the couch.

This quote is not even representative of the book bit it just made me giggle so hard. Cute read. Brave exploration of aceness in a romance novel. Kelly keeps kicking it with their valiant efforts in intersectionality.

wow i loved these characters SO much. i read love & other disasters a few years ago so i had a feeling this would be really good and it was! julie feeling like she couldn’t confide in the people she was closest to because she was embarrassed about feeling behind everyone else was uncomfortably relatable and made me love her even more. and i loved the way both elle’s depression and julie trying to understand her identity were handled. this was such a lovely read
