Rishe and Arnold are FREAKING CUTE together, and they keep growing closer bit by bit. A true power couple, especially on horseback in a running battle.
(Now we learn more about Rishe's 5th life as a hunter (aka basically a spy)! Plus there's more ripples from her deciding to marry Arnold, both for a timid princess falsely maligned and her past hunter mentor. Printing presses and currency play a role here. Also Arnold continues to plot away in the background, even with the drastic changes that Rishe is making... )

While Rishe and Arnold's banters are becoming increasingly more entertaining, the same cannot be said with the plot of the story. It keeps following the same pattern - ans it's getting boring. I wish Rishe would stop relying too much on her knowledge from past lives and encounter a "real danger." I wish we, as the readers, would discover things with her at the moment and get a chance to understand her logic of doing things, instead of everything just being revealed at the very end. I wish Rishe would play a more active role in the story instead of just adjusting herself based on whatever circumstances she found herself in.

I had been reading the manga up to this point but ended up reading the light novel for volume 4. I don’t think the manga and the light novels match up, as there are some characters and events mentioned in this volume that I had not read about. While I enjoy the light novel version, I don’t recommend switching back and forth between the manga and light novels. I do think that that the light novels contain more internal dialogue than we usually get in the manga. There are some illustrations, but not many.
There was so much going on in this volume! It was interesting to see how Rishe is able to solve all of the issues that she comes up against. I was also happy that she and Arnold were able to work together on some of them. This volume was big in character development and advancing the plot. I’m excited to see where the story goes!
