A forbidden romance mafia story ร la Romeo and Juliet? Yes please! Throw in a down bad MMC who can't quite grasp his feelings enough to know why he's obsessed, but that's not going to stop him from pursuing her. He even uses one of my favourite tricks, the "let's just do it once to get it out of our system" ๐โโ๏ธ.
I think this story does a great job balancing out the romance and the plot surrounding their families, to a point where there was less spicy scenes than I was expecting (not in a bad way, but for some reason it did stand out to me). Both our main characters are extremely love starved, and exceptionally unaware about it. Although the root cause of their issues definitely differ, in the end they meet in the same place of being open to receiving love and accepting they are deserving of it in return.
I would consider this on the lighter side of mafia romances. It still deals with some difficult topics, and he is still a crime baddie, but this is definitely not a "dark" romance. A nice light palette cleanser for those familiar with the genre, and I'd say a great starting book for those who may looking to dip their toes into it.
This was my first Gabrielle Sands book, and I will definitely be coming back to read her backlog. However, not to be dramatic but I am gnawing at the bars of my enclosure for Fabi & Cosimoโs storyโฆ itโs gonna keep me up at night. My talent is picking up on the best future relationship potential, despite only showing up on a few pages, and I think I've nailed it with this one.

The author knocked it out the park with this one! Itโs been awhile since Iโve read a book that literally kept me up all night. But I was hooked from the moment I picked up ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ and couldnโt put it down!

Mia is a caring, selfless person who puts the needs of everyone else in her life first. But, after a chance encounter with the son of the Ferraro crime family, Mia begins to choose herself and her own happiness.
Romolo Ferraro is a dangerous man - feared by those who know him. But as he gets to know Mia, we see a softer, devoted side of him that only Mia can make him feel.
Their relationship is nothing short of intense. Not only was the chemistry between Romolo and Mia off the charts, but the emotions of their story was so beautifully written! They each helped heal a part of the other person โฅ๏ธ
Everything about this book is amazing - the story, the characters and the spice ๐๐ผ I canโt recommend this book enough! Iโm anxiously awaiting book 2 and just know the author is going to give us another 10/10

This book came out of left fielddd. This was a cover read and my goodness did it ever work out in my favour cuz this was such a banger.

Be With Me is an enemies to lovers, good girl x bad boy mafia romance. Son of the mafia don and daughter of the mayor whoโs trying to take them down.
There is everything you want in a mafia. The danger and the tension. The attraction they try and fight. There is also emotional grit that makes you want to hug each of them. Think Romeo and Juliette but make it mafia.
This is the kind of book that I had to stop halfway through to make sure it wasnโt a standalone lol and thank god itโs not. I need more from this world.
Gosh I love mafiaaaa.
Now excuse me while I go find a signature lip gloss that a mafia man can become obsessed with.
