Gabrielle Sands is the queen of Mafia romances!!!!

I ate this up!!!! It was so good, omg. The way it tied together with the previous series/duet and the way the whole story was built up and plotted was so good. A bad boy/good girl, Romeo&Juliet style romance, where the antihero, ruthless playboy falls for the daughter of the man trying to take his family down. On the surface Romolo might seem like nothing more than a playboy, but his story made me absolutely bawl. Vita, if I ever catch you, you will not like the consequences, I hate that woman so viciously. And Mia, trying to take the weight of the world on her shoulders, with no one taking care of her (obviously Romolo perfectly takes on this role). I love her character growth so much!! They might not trust each other in the beginning, but they start to lean on each other and become each others rock and omg did they deserve their hea!! They were so perfect together.
The romance was so good, but so was the angst and action. It was just such a well written story all around.

I can't wait for the next book in the series and to see where that story will take us!!

This is the first mafia romance I’ve read and it won’t be my last because wow! The drama, the backstabbing, the bad boy MMC. Nothing gets me hooked more than a romantic interest that is cold and disinterested in everyone but absolutely melts for the FMC. Also, big β€˜touch her and d!e’ energy which I love.

Such a gripping and intense read, I really enjoyed my time with this book!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book was giving Romeo & Juliet vibes without the tragic ending. It was soooo good! Mia is the daughter of a man running for mayor whose focus is taking down organized crime, specifically the Ferraro Family. Romolo is one of the sons of the Ferraro family and is skilled at extracting information. When Mia & Romolo meet by chance (one helluva meet cute btw), Rom sees this as a chance for him to get info on Mia's father...

πŸ’– I loved these two. They were different yet so alike. Two sides of the same coin. "...starved for the love we'd never received." πŸ₯Ί

πŸ’– Mia was a bit of a people pleaser. But her character development was bomb.com. She definitely isn't a doormat from the start though (Rom brings out the claws!) but she's pure and has a big heart of gold. Rom actually helped her realize it's more than okay to be *selfish*.

πŸ’– Rom was our charming yet dangerous mafia man. He may seem like a huge flirt but his backstory hurted omg 😭 he was cynical but I think Mia helped him start to see some good again.

πŸ’– Their connection was so amazing. I actually really liked how the third act confkict was done for Mia's character. She was standing strong!

πŸ’– The story flowed really well. There were family secrets and betrayal of course! Bring the suspense and mystery! I loved the new characters. (And hated some truly despicable ones!!) Especially seeing another side to characters we've briefly met as minor characters in Gabrielle Sands's other mafia series. I really can't wait to meet the rest!

P.S. I'm really on the edge of my seat for what's to unfold next for said despicable character as the House of Ferraro series continues!

I absolutely DEVOURED this book! If Gabrielle writes it I'm reading it. ANOTHER MASTERPIECE. END OF STORY. πŸ–€

Mia is selfless and always putting others first even at personal cost.

And Romolo... πŸ”₯ DANGEROUS. RUTHLESS. But beneath that tough exterior lies a depth of emotion that I fell in love with. It was complex but for Mia he slowly opened every layer.

Mia and Romolo? Their chemistry was FERAL! ❀️ They were made for each other. I LOVED IT.

Gabrielle knows how to connect series and start new ones by weaving in characters from past series.

πŸ–€ Mystery & Suspense

πŸ’Œ Huge thanks for the ARC!

Holy Berry!!!
Gabrielle has another hit on her hands.
Hands down a fantastic story that had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through.
I can't express just how good this read was. I thought Neros' book was amazing, but damnnn Romolo surprised me, and I have a new Book Boyfriend to add to my list πŸ’™. I love a good Romeo & Juliet retelling 😈πŸ”₯

ARC Review:

Be With Me by @authorgabriellesands

Firstly, I want to thank Gabrielle for choosing me as an ARC reader for this book. It has been a pleasure. When I say I devoured this book, I hope you understand it means this book has been my life. Playlist on, book open, absorb!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Welcome to the House of Ferraro

Mia and Rom are just perfection πŸ‘Œ

I adored watching them grow both individually and as a couple. Gabrielle has given me my spice with a side of awww.

I know there will be more in the series, but I do feel like the story was unfinished. I suppose that's the point of a series πŸ™„

Guess I'll just be sitting here crying while I wait for the next book to come out 😭😭😭

I hope it's Alessio πŸ‘€

Love the meeting between Romolo and Mia, so original!!

Mia is helping her father run for mayor of NYC and Romolo is the son of a mafia family.  Mia's father is running on a platform to clean up the city and put the mafia families behind bars and he's especially targeting Romolo's family for something that happened before Mia was even born.

Romolo starts stalking Mia to get information on her father to use against him in the campaign but Romolo is falling for her and can't stay away.  He also can't use her, won't use her for his family.

This book ties in so well with the author's other books, but you won't need to read them to enjoy this book.  Loved it, so emotional and well written! Can't wait for Cos and Fabi's story to find out what is up with them!!

ARC provided for an honest review.

Disclaimer I do not usually read mafia romances but the description of this and the gorgeous cover made me take a chance. So glad that I did because I really enjoyed this book. Mia was good, kind and starved of the love someone like her deserves.  She also had backbone which I really liked, and even more so once the push and pull with Rom began. Also really liked Rom. His pov chapters were a wonderful delve into his character, that struggle between his family and growing feelings for Mia and the messed up past that had shaped him. The chemistry between Mia and Rom was so good, heat, yearning, curiosity and two people finding what was missing with each other.  A good start to the series and I look forward to the next one. 4 🌟
