I recently discovered Gabrielle and her books and she has become one of my absolute favorite authors. I've binge read her books and I've been wanting to read this book as well. Let me tell you that this book is just pure perfection !! Gabrielle has done it again !!
This book was fire !! The tension between Mia and Romolo was just off the charts and let me tell you, I almost screamed when they kissed. I love when they try to stay away from eachother but ends up together.
Mia, a strong, sweet and caring human being. She puts everyone else first. I love her open mind and that she won't judge people based on rumours. I love how Mia treats Rom when he is telling her about his past.
Romolo, a ruthless, calculated and cruel man who's mission is Mia. Mia is his target at first but everytime he looks at her something changes in him. Reading about his past made my heart break. I love the fact Rom took Mia's lipgloss and his nickname for her, Berry ๐ฅน
This book is written to absolute perfection and I love how Gabrielle has handled the tropes. I love the suspense and political intrigues, perfection. Gabrielle you have outdone yourself with this book !! This is a favorite read of 2025, let me tell you that !!
I highly recommend this book and I'm so so ooking forward to see what comes next from Gabrielle !! I'm obsessed !! ๐ฅ
